Introducing Grindstone
A grindstone is the tool that keeps every other tool sharp. That's the job we've set ourselves: to give contract manufacturers and their customers sharper ways to find each other, keep jobs moving and fix the problems that slow them down. The name is also a reminder of how we work: practical, hands-on, and nose to the grindstone until the job is done.

Who is behind it
Grindstone was founded by Colin Astbury, who has spent over thirty years in engineering and manufacturing, from the Royal Navy's Fleet Air Arm to 18 years at TT Electronics and operations roles across OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. Connect with Colin on LinkedIn.
