EMC Directory: UK EMC Test Labs and Consultancies

Grindstone Ltd launched EMC Directory on 29 October 2026. It lists 30+ UK EMC test labs and consultancies, from pre-compliance scans to accredited compliance testing. It's built the same way as EMS Directory and CNC Directory, our directories of UK contract electronics manufacturers and CNC machining companies.

Two labs can both say "EMC testing" and do very different work. One runs pre-compliance scans on consumer products in a screened room; another holds UKAS accreditation and tests to MIL-STD-461 and DEF STAN 59-411 in a fully anechoic chamber. EMC Directory shows the details that decide the fit in the same layout on every listing:

Standards covered, from EN 55032 and the EN 61000-4 series to MIL-STD-461, DEF STAN 59-411 and RTCA DO-160
Accreditations such as UKAS accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025
Test types and facilities, from radiated and conducted emissions and immunity to ESD, with chamber types and frequency range
Industries supported, and whether the lab can test on your site

You can search by standard, accreditation and location. Every listing has a Last Updated date and a Send Email button, so you can reach the lab directly.
