CNC Directory Is Live
Grindstone Ltd launched CNC Directory on 28 October 2026. It lists 220+ UK CNC machining companies, from one-off prototypes to production runs, and is built the same way as EMS Directory, our directory of UK contract electronics manufacturers.
Two machine shops can both say "CNC machining" and do very different work. One runs 3-axis milling in aluminium for prototypes; another runs 5-axis nickel alloy parts under an aerospace quality system. CNC Directory shows the details that decide the fit in the same layout on every listing, and lets you filter on them:
- Processes, from milling and turning to 5-axis machining, EDM and finishing
- Materials worked, from aluminium and stainless steel to titanium and plastics
- Machine capability, tolerance and inspection
- Certifications such as ISO 9001 and AS9100, and the industries each company supplies
Every listing has a Last Updated date and a Contact button, so you can reach the company directly.
